Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026 (added sleep tracking)
Sleep Deeper (“the app”) is designed to help you relax and sleep. We respect your privacy: we do not collect, store or sell any personal information.
Information we collect
None. The app has no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics and no advertising SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites.
Data stored on your device
Your sleep log, saved sound mixes, preferred voice pace and podcast listening positions are stored only on your device (using standard iOS storage). They are never sent to us and are deleted when you delete the app.
Apple Health (HealthKit)
If you choose to connect Apple Health, Sleep Deeper reads your Sleep data (sleep duration and sleep stages) only to show your nightly sleep in the app. Health data is read on your device, is never sent to us or any third party, is never used for advertising or marketing, and is not stored in iCloud by the app. Sleep Deeper does not write to Apple Health. You can turn off access at any time in Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › Sleep Deeper.
Notifications
If you turn on the bedtime reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your device. No data is sent anywhere.
Third-party content
Some features load content directly from third parties:
- Podcasts are streamed from each show's public RSS feed and audio host. Those hosts receive standard technical information (such as your IP address and device type) as with any podcast app, under their own privacy policies.
- Videos are played through YouTube's official embedded player. YouTube may collect data under the Google Privacy Policy.
- Artwork and thumbnails are loaded from Apple and YouTube image servers.
We do not receive any data from these services.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
